Spiritual Heart Transplant

The easiest way to understand spiritual principles is to observe or study natural or physical principles. Such is applicable to the issue of a spiritual heart transplant. A physical heart transplant is a surgical procedure performed to replace a failing heart with a healthy one, usually supplied by a donor. As we speak, there are many people living normal lives with a replaced heart, Glory to God!!!

”I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh” Ezekiel 36:26 niv

Oftentimes, the people of this world argue or wonder how as a new creation in Christ,  we claim to have a new life when in the real sense we still go about with the same body and physical identity. There are believers as well who are oblivious of this spiritual reality. In 2 Cor 7:2, the Apostle Paul declares…” we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man’‘. How can!!! someone may ask? Truth is Paul here identifies with his new nature in Christ.

”Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead” Col 2:12 kjv

Maybe there are those we have previously declared as persona non grata, possibly because of their old life. If indeed they have genuinely received this gift of eternal life (Rom 6:23), the truth is, they are indeed a new individual. That old nature (heart) of sin and death which was the power source of our old life has indeed been supplanted through the operation of God, Glory alleluia!!!
